We try to:

use the most precise locality, neighbourhood, ward and venue name available;
distinguish Coventry from Warwick, Warwickshire, Birmingham, Solihull, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa and the wider West Midlands;
distinguish Coventry City Council from Warwickshire County Council;
identify the exact geography of Coventry railway station, Birmingham Airport, the University of Warwick, Coventry University, CBS Arena and city-centre projects;
distinguish Coventry’s historic, proposed, demonstrator, under-construction and completed transport schemes;
check live information against official or first-party sources;
identify opinion, sponsored content, affiliate content and advertising clearly;
avoid unsupported rankings, stereotypes and claims about communities;
use first-hand experience only where it genuinely happened;
correct material errors promptly;
treat businesses, residents and contributors fairly.

We do not turn Warwickshire or West Midlands statistics into Coventry-only facts. We do not describe Birmingham Airport or University of Warwick facilities as being inside Coventry City Council without checking the exact geography. We do not flatten Hillfields, Foleshill, Radford, Earlsdon, Canley, Tile Hill, Stoke, Wyken, Binley, Cheylesmore and the other neighbourhoods into one generic local area.
